Meditation can improve job performance

Just 15 minutes of meditation led to better business decisions, according to a study published in the journal Psychological Science. "The basic principles of meditation -- discipline, focus, deep breathing -- can absolutely improve your job performance because you'll make smarter decisions when you're centered," said Suze Yalof Schwartz, founder of a Los Angeles meditation center. Experts say benefits include increased confidence, better focus and reduced anxiety.
