People lose more weight on vegan diet, study says
A study that compared five diets found participants on a vegan plan lost the most weight, University of South Carolina researchers reported in the International Journal of Applied and Basic Nutritional Sciences. Data showed that people on the vegan diet lost an average of 16.5 more pounds than those who were on diets that included fish, meat or animal products
