Healthier brains in older adults linked to fitness in midlife
Estimated physical fitness at 50 was tied to greater white matter volume and higher volumes in the middle temporal gyrus and perirhinal cortex later in life, a 10-year study by the National Institute on Aging says. The study was published in the Journals of Gerontology
