The Detroit edition of Examiner.com recently highlighted research published in the April 2011 issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The study, "Health Maintenance Care in Work-Related Low Back Pain and Its Association with Disability Recurrence," concluded that chiropractic care was more effective for common work-related low-back pain in comparison to treatments by physicians or physical therapists. In total, chiropractic patients demonstrated lower medical expenses, fewer disability recurrences and shorter initial periods of disabilities. ~ACA
