Avoid Pain with the Right Backpack Practices
1. Make sure your kid's backpack, when packed, doesn't weigh more than 10 % of their body weight.
2. It shouldn't hang more than 4 inches below the waistline and should have wide, adjustable, padded straps.
3. Look for a backpack with individualized compartments to help position the contents most effectively.
4. If you or your child experiences any pain or discomfort resulting from backpack use, call your chiropractor!
