Great Need for Chiropractic for Lower-Back Pain

This issue of Spine highlights the need for greater participation in the care of lower-back pain by doctors of chiropractic. The study measured the cost of lower-back pain to society in patients with lower-back pain versus patients without lower-back pain. The study found that patients with lower-back pain experienced more comorbidities and economic burdens compared with patients without lower-back pain.
