Consumer Reports survey shows high use and high satisfaction in use of alternative healthcare such as chiropractic. According to nearly 46,000 people recently interviewed by Consumer Reports, "hands-on treatments such as chiropractic" dominated the list of helpful alternative treatments for discomfort from conditions such as back pain, neck pain, and osteoarthritis. Of those surveyed, three out of four people are currently using some form of alternative therapy for their general health. One consumer was quoted in the article saying that she keeps her MD informed about therapies she has tried, but that her chiropractor "see's how everything's connected." Another consumer described his chiropractic treatments as "magical." One in four respondents undergoing chiropractic treatment said their chiropractor was more interested and insightful than their medical doctors. ~NCCA
