Acupuncture may reduce migraine frequency
Migraines were less frequent in patients who had acupuncture therapy for 16 weeks, compared with those who had a sham treatment or were on a waiting list for acupuncture, researchers reported in JAMA Internal Medicine. The study no serious adverse events from the treatment and the effect lasted for 20 weeks after the sessions ended.
